Bill Meltzer: Stars Gameday: 3/16/13 vs. Blackhawks

After the morning skate, Garbutt is out, Oleksiak is in, and Benn is now a game time decision with a reasonable chance to play according to a report by Mike Heika. Also during the skate, Benn and Jagr played on different lines : Whitney-Benn-Cole and Eriksson-Roy-Jagr. I think these could be effective lines. If Benn can't play then the lines will be similar to the ones against Anaheim.

For St. Patricks day promotion, Stars are again wearing special green jerseys during warmup with Irish based nicknames, and which will be auctioned with proceeds going to charities. Last year over $16,000 was raised. Some of my favorites this year are McJagger (Jagr of course), O'Gaulskeeper (Lehtonen) and Leprechaun (Whitney).
